About Coach Darren

I’m Darren Morse, founder of Unlock’d Archery Training, a USA Archery Level 3-NTS Certified Coach and Level 2 Certified Judge dedicated to helping archers reach their highest potential.

Originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and now based in Mineral Wells, Texas, I coach and compete out of Fort Grard Guns and Archery. With a 25-year career as a Database Administrator — including 10 years as Director of Database Administration — I bring analytical precision, problem-solving, and attention to detail to every coaching session.

Over the past nine years, I’ve been immersed in competitive archery across compound, barebow recurve, and traditional disciplines.

At Unlock’d Archery Training, I specialize in working with NASP archers, competitive athletes, and recreational shooters, combining top-tier technical instruction with the mental management methods of Lanny Bassham. My mission is to help every archer — whether they’re picking up a bow for the first time or chasing podium finishes — unlock their skills, sharpen their focus, and achieve breakthrough results.
